The 2011 BMW 3 Series Does Not Disappoint

The BMW 3 Series is considered among the most desirable of luxury compact cars on the road today. The 2011 models do not fall short of this sentiment, as they continue onward in their tradition as one of the ultimate driving machines.

The sleek, midsize luxury automobile is available as a coupe, wagon, sedan or convertible. Its primary competitors are the Audi A4/A5, the Infiniti G37 and the Mercedes-Benz C class cars. The BMW 3 Series is available in both rear wheel and front wheel drive. The exterior of the vehicle has been mildly tweaked, its body being both longer and slightly higher. The vehicle is fresh and modern, making it a great compromise for someone looking for something sporty but elegant.

This year, BMW introduces increased fuel-efficiency with fuel-efficient smaller engines in the 3 Series vehicles. In addition, they're offering a limited edition N55 model that is more fuel-efficient and cleaner-burning than ever. Finally, you can put your environmental guilt to rest while still being able to drive a top of the line luxury vehicle! Plus, the vehicle's performance and power don't waiver: the 2011 BMW 3 Series continues to perform in line with BMW's unwavering dedication to durable, vigorous machines. Other notable mentions to this year's 3 Series are its intuitive handling, massive torque and smooth engine lineup.

The 2011 BMW 3 Series comes equipped with a functional interior, exuding comfort and luxury. It boasts extremely high-quality front seat comfort, with only slightly less space for the back passengers, and more than adequate storage space.  Because the 3 Series is considered a compact vehicle, these compromises in space are natural and hard to avoid. Overall, the interior of the car follows in line with the rest of the 3 Series' attention to detail and luxury.

One noted downfall of the 2011 BMW 3 Series is the hefty price tag it comes with it. Depending on the features and add-ons, the final price of your customized 2011 BMW 3 Series can be quite steep. Used BMW 3 Series automobiles are a great option for those looking to save money without sacrificing quality. If you're interested in learning more about new and used vehicles, the Leggat Auto Group can help. Acura RSX Review

The Acura RSX, known as the Integra DC5 in Japan, is a 2-door sport hatchback that Honda manufactured from 2002-2006 as a replacement for the Integra coupe. The vehicle was a success in North America, and

used Acura RSX models continue to sell well and hold value. Despite the success, Honda chose to abandon the model when they decided to transition the Acura nameplate into an upscale brand. They did, however, continue to support the model through Acura service and parts.

Throughout its 5-year run, the Acura RSX was available in either the standard Acura RSX or the Acura RSX Type-S. The standard equipment package included full power accessories, keyless entry, automatic climate control, a deluxe audio system, and a lot more. This is an incredible “base” package, and for those shopping used, there does not need to be any concern over missing features since Acura didn’t sell RSXs that way.

While the base Acura RSX is more than enough car for most, the Acura RSX Type-S targeted those who wanted more sport-oriented performance. It provided it with mechanical upgrades that increased performance considerably, such as a sports-tuned suspension, better brakes, and a six-speed manual transmission. Features of the Type-S trim package included 17-inch wheels and leather seating. These Type-S models have become particularly popular with enthusiasts so expect a premium in the price tag.

Consumers should note that while the 2002 and 2006 models look almost identical, there are some mechanical differences. For all 2005 models, Acura introduced a revised steering and suspension system that provided the car with a noticeable upgrade to responsiveness. This is not a deal-breaker if you find a pre-2005 model at a great deal, but it matters, if all else is equal. In addition, the 2005 revision brought a 1-hp improvement and some new visual cues to the Type-S. Choosing between a 02-04 and a 05-06 is simply a matter of preference.
In the past, sport hatchbacks never had a reputation for efficiency, but the RSX was different. The use of a 4-cylinder engine coupled with its front-wheel-drive configuration allowed it to have better fuel economy than most and that efficiency still holds up today. For those in the market for a Used Toyota car, the Acura RSX offers an excellent opportunity to get reliability and dependability along with fun and creature comfort at a very reasonable price.

2010 Chevrolet Equinox review

The 2010 Chevrolet Equinox is one of the best vehicles of the year, which becomes pretty easy to tell after looking it over. Like many of Chevrolet cars, this one is also very smooth, yet very large. This vehicle comes with a tall body on the sides and body seams are minimized with thin slivers replacing the more outgoing model’s much thicker gaps.

The Equinox’s dashboard is the most futuristic and detailed part about this vehicle. It comes with silver-trimmed gauges lining out a classy LCD monitor, which displays an enormous amount of information. The dash and the door panels come in silver, gray, and chrome materials. They’re rigid, for the most part, but the button arrangement will take some getting used to.

The front seats are more comfortable and supportive than in previous models, and the wide rear seat isn't flat anymore. Short people could be uncomfortable in the very long seat cushions. Other than that, there're no problems with the seating.

This four-cylinder model is something else. It reaches 0-to-60 mph in less than nine seconds. It can accelerate in an extremely relaxed fashion. Both engines offer direct injection and allow manual to automatic shifting. To use the manual mode, you have to move the gear selector down to M and use the thumb rocker on the side of the shift lever and move it up and down. No steering-wheel controls or separate gates exist in this model.

The electric power steering means you lose the feel to save fuel, and the brakes are like they aren't there. Earlier versions offered a lot more feel of the wheel, but both were noisier than the Equinox. The Equinox is calm and you won't feel anything on the wheel.

Chevrolet has been dropping the price of this Chevrolet SUV by quite a bit. As of now, you won't pay more than $40,000, and that is for every feature you can get on it. A used Equinox would be much less.

The 2010 Chevy Equinox may be bland to drive, but it is good enough all the most needed tasks to establish a lot of loyal fans in the future. Mazda 2

The Mazda 2 is a stylish car that is heavy on performance and nice on the eyes. The design of the car is sculpted so that the shape captures the light and reflects it in a pleasant, sleek way. The car takes on an athletic appearance, owing at least in part to the wide placement of its headlights, which have the option of coming with halogen fog lights. The wide stances of its wheels give the car the appearance of a creature that is ready to pounce. The sporty appearance of the car cleverly disguises the fact that the car is also very practical, featuring five doors. The aerodynamic curves of the vehicle help it to achieve thirty five miles for every gallon of gas it consumes on the highway. This makes it one of the most fuel efficient cars out there. The shape also helps for a smooth, more silent ride. The rear spoiler minimizes turbulence, further improving its movement through the air.

The inside of the Mazda 2 offers comfortable seats that offer more maneuverability than you would typically expect. The rear seats can be folded down to provide for more cargo, but they don't all have to be folded down at once. The cargo floor goes deeper than most. Cup holders are available in the front and back seats as well as cell phone or iPod storage. Power windows, audio input jacks, A/C, adjustable steering wheels, fuel economy sensors, and cruise control come standard. The car is also designed to minimize noise from the road.

The Mazda 2 is high on performance as well, offering up a hundred horse power and ninety eight pound feet of torque, providing a more than decent amount of power, especially for an engine with thirty five miles per gallon. The one and a half liter, sixteen valve engine is built from the same foundation as the MZR found in motor sports. The engine is tuned to make your daily commute feel more sporty, rather than to reach high top speeds that are useless in your daily routine. The manual transmission is designed to shift smoothly with clutch cushioning, making shifting engine. The automatic transmission is designed to accommodate up and downhill slopes with ease. The car also comes with an anti lock braking system and an electronic power assist steering that allows the car to steer sharply without drawing power from the engine.

Review 2010 Sierra

Once the sole domain of farmers and tradesmen, the modern pickup truck has broad appeal, and the GMC Sierra 1500 has played an vital role in making that so. The current Sierra and near-identical Chevrolet Silverado use the GMT900 platform, which General Motors introduced for 2007. There have not been any major revisions since then, so the consumer shopping for a used GMC Sierra can get a lot of value from a 2007 model without sacrificing much in the way of modern amenities.

However, for those in the market for a new rather than a used Sierra, the 2010 GMC Sierra has a lot to offer. GM continues to tweak the standard 5.3-liter V8, and each year it has provided incrementally better fuel performance. The 2010 model is no exception and provides 15 mpg city and 22 mpg on the highway. GMC has dropped the 6.0-liter V8, but all Sierra V8s used E85 as well as gasoline now, and the 6.2-liter V8 is available with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The 2010 Sierra 1500 is a half-ton pickup available in three body styles: standard, extended, and crew cab. There are also three bed styles: short (5-foot, 8-inch), standard (6-foot, 6-inch), and long (8-foot). The short bed is not available with the standard cab, and it is the only bed available with the crew cab. The base Sierra is the Work truck, and this is a base package in every sense. Most consumers will opt for the well-equipped standard SLE trim. There is also a premium trim for those that want additional luxury.

If there is one downside to the newest Sierra, it is that the interior is unimpressive compared to its competition. However, this lack of flare helps to keep the price down, and a lack of flare does not indicate a lack of functionality and comfort. In that regard, the Sierra does impress, and it has one of the best panel layouts in the class. Consumers should note that the premium SLT does a lot for the interior with wood grain, metallic accents, and a fantastic center console. The downside is that this trim package is pricey.

Review Honda Accord

For over twenty years, the Honda Accord has been a constant in the automotive world. It is often the obvious choice as a mid-sized family sedan, and its unmatched reputation for reliability and dependability has made used Honda Accord models the bestselling vehicles in North America. However, we often take the car for granted for these exact reasons. That is a shame because the 2008 redesign further refined in the 2009 model deserves your attention.

The 2009 Honda Accord is available as both a sedan and a coupe. The sedan is available at four trim levels: LX, LX-P, EX, and EX-L. The coupe is available in only three: LX-S, EX, and EX-L. The standard Accord is well equipped including 16-inch wheels, full power accessories, keyless entry, cruise control, and a 6-speaker CD/MP3 audio system.

Inside, Honda lives up to its reputation for high-quality interiors. Sure, the competition has closed the gap, but this is still the segment standard. We particularly enjoy the new seating, which are distinct in design and provide a firmness that serves the driver well over long periods. Our only complaint is that the panel has a cluttered layout, but there is a lot of functionality crammed in here, and this seems to be a problem plaguing mid-size cars of late.

Honda offers the Accord with three engines. There are two version of the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder, one tuned for 177 horsepower, the other for 190 horsepower. A five-speed automatic transmission is optional. At the EX trim levels, Honda offers the 3.5-liter V6 that produces 271 hp and 254 pound feet of torque.

Over the years, Honda has developed a bit of a sporty reputation, but some of that is gone with the 2008 redesign. The Accord does not corner as well as it has in the past, and both 4-cylinder engines are unremarkable. Driving around town, the car shines, and both engines perform adequately. Most should opt for the 190-hp engine since it provides the same fuel economy as its less powerful sibling. The V6 is an impressive upgrade purely in terms of performance, but not so much in terms of price-to-performance ratio. The 190-hp engine is the sweet spot for most would-be Accord owners.

2010 Chevrolet Tahoe

Since the popularity explosion of SUVs in the mid-1990s, no model has been as popular as the Chevrolet Tahoe has. Even today, as car-based crossovers dominate the segment, the Tahoe continues to stand apart and succeed. Perhaps the reasons for this appeal have never been more evident than they are in the 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe.

The 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe, a full-size SUV, is available in three trims: LS, LT, and LTZ. The standard LS package includes all of the modern amenities that SUV buyers expect at a competitive price. Upgrading to LT adds OnStar and luxuries, and upgrading to LTZ includes features such as 20-inch wheels, a chrome exterior, a rear-view cam, and a premium Boise audio system.

Under the hood, a 5.3-liter V8 that produces 320 horsepower and 335 pound-feet of torque is the only engine. Chevy pairs this with a 6-speed automatic transmission, and the customer has the choice of a rear-wheel or four-wheel-drive model. With the 4WD models, the customer has their choice of the traditional two-speed transfer case or the single-speed unit with no low-range gearing at no additional cost.

Usually it is just hyperbole when we use words like macho to describe SUVs, but in the current market with more crossovers and less SUVs like the Tahoe, macho is the perfect adjective. The Tahoe is a great fit for someone who actually needs off-road capability, towing power, passenger capacity, and cargo space.

If you want all of those things but cannot currently afford a new Tahoe, you can get all of that machismo and a great deal of value in a used Chev Tahoe. Chevrolet debuted the present generation in 2007 so that is a lot of flexibility for used SUV shoppers, and you are not sacrificing much by buying a 2007 model. In fact, the only features that may be missing are the side-curtain airbags, which were optional in 2007 and 2008.

Tahoe buyers who want the 395-hp 6.2-liter V8 will need to focus on 2009 and 2010 models, the only years that that engine was available. For the 2007 models, engine options are a 295-hp 4.8-liter and a 320-hp 5.3-liter V8, both paired with a 4-speed automatic.

The 2010 Buick Regal Review

The 2010 Buick Regal is basically a renamed version of the Opal Insignia, a sedan which GM developed for the European market and which has been accruing good reviews in Europe. It is envisioned as something of the new Saturn for GM, as the company comes out of bankruptcy leaner and smaller. It is a front engine, front wheel drive, and four door sedans.

The base engine for the car is a 2.0 liter normally aspirated four cylinder producing 144 rated horsepower and 140 foot pounds of torque, while in higher trims a 2.4 liter Ecotec producing 167 rated horsepower and 165 foot pounds of torque is available. The transmission is a six speed automatic, the wheelbases are 107 inches, and curb weight is approximately 3,313 pounds.

The new Regal sports excellent lines and is a great looking modern car. Rear seat legroom is not among the best, but the front seats slide very far back allowing plenty of room for a driver of any height. Drivers report that with a European tuned suspension, the Regal shows very good stability at freeway speeds. Acceleration is not particularly brisk; GM gives the 0 to 60 numbers as 9.8 seconds. This is a result of a widely spaced ratios and a torque converter that locks early in the transmission. However, this gas saving feature is part of the car's design philosophy, and in today's climate of economic concerns and energy concerns, placing mileage over breathtaking performance makes a great deal of sense. Mean sale price for the car is $26,400 to $36,000.

Options include sat-nav, a Harmon kadon sound system, cruise control, and power seats with memory, auto headlights, and a sunroof.

Overall, the Buick Regal is an attractive, well thought out car that will provide comfortable and economic transportation for the newly budget conscious American consumer and hopefully help revitalize the General Motors Company.
